Janet's Books

In honor of Janet Grillo, a former board member of the 

Staten Island Reading Association and a longtime educator, 

SIRA has created a fund called Janet’s Books.

This fund allows SIRA to provide books to children and 

adults at community events, school functions and seminars.

These books encourage the growth of literacy in our 

community, just as Janet Grillo did during her career.

A donation to Janet’s Books will help to increase literacy by

improving access to books and learning.
